You all know that I have become very passionate about skincare and using great quality products to treat my skin. After all, in order to have spectacular makeup application you need to have a good base to apply it to. I find that getting older, I pay a lot more attention to my skin and what it needs.
In my skincare routine I always use a cleanser within the first few steps. I usually use one to two products before the cleanser to remove any makeup. If the cleanser is a 2-in-1 that removes makeup as well as cleanse, that’s a huge plus too! It’s important to use gentle cleansers that do not strip your skin of all its moisture, and cleansers that do not contain harsh exfoliating particles that will irritate your skin.
Today I want to introduce you to the Youth Preserve Deep Cleanser that I have been using for a while and have been very pleased with.
This cleanser is made by an amazing brand called A Complete, founded by Angelica Fuentes. I am so happy to support this company because it is created by women for women, and all revenue is donated towards projects that encourage women empowerment.
Youth Preserver Deep Cleanser is a soap-free facial cleanser that doubles as an exfoliator and makeup remover.
It contains natural marine ingredients which hydrate your skin while giving a plumping effect, and other botanicals help with the process of skin cell renewal without the harsh exfoliating beads, which will reveal a brighter complexion.
It says that it’s meant for normal to dry skin, but as an oily skin type, I found it to work just fine without creating any extra oil, or clogging my pores. In fact, oily skin needs to be hydrated in order to trick your skin into thinking it’s creating enough oil and to slow down the production.
You can purchase this product for $28 USD and receive 3.4 fl. oz. It definitely can last you a month or longer depending on how often you use it and how much product you take at a time.
I am a huge fan of the simple, yet pretty white and mint packaging, along with the fact that it has a pump that dispenses the perfect amount for each use.
The cleanser has a very light and creamy texture. The clean, fresh scent is another plus. Definitely is not too strong.
I have been using it twice a day without any irritation or the need to use any other facial makeup removing products. I just use an eye makeup remover to get rid of water-proof mascara.
At the end of each cleansing session my skin feels smoother, moisturized, and not stripped or tight.
If you are looking for a gentle everyday cleanser, I recommend giving this one a try.
