If you read my blog and watch my YouTube videos, then you know I am a huge fan of Makeup Revolution products. As a matter of fact, I made a video not too long ago giving you my top recommendations of must have Makeup Revolution products that you should try out.
Recently, they came out with these awesome cream products called The One Sticks. There is a contour shade, a highlight shade, and two blush shades. It has been a while since my last contour and highlight routine video, so I decided to update it with the products that I am currently using and loving.
The One Sculpt Contour Stick makes it so easy to apply directly to the areas of the face that you want to define. I love that you can control the thickness just from the angle in which you apply it. The shade is perfect, and has no orange undertone to it. I use this product dry for a more defined look.
The One Highlight Contour Stick is a very pretty Champagne shade. It is very easy to build to your desirable glow. I also use this product dry for a more obvious kind of glow.
The One Blush Stick comes in two shades, “Matte Rush” and “Matte Malibu”. These are like a 2-in-1 makeup product because you can also apply these to your lips for a sheer tint. I prefer to use these wet so they do not look so harsh because they are very pigmented. These are easy to build up to your desire as well.
Each of these products can be picked up from the Ulta Beauty website. If you go now they are actually buy one get one 50% off!
These retail for $9 each, and you receive 0.42 oz. of product.
I like to apply these directly onto my skin without any brushes at first, and then blend out with either a brush or beauty blender. Hey, on the plus side, since these are cream you can even blend out with your finger.
Each stick can be used either wet or dry. Dry will give you a more pigmented look, and wet will make it more sheer. You will love how creamy they are too which makes it even easier to blend and build up. I didn’t set these with any powder products just to be able to see how well these last on their own, and they didn’t separate or slide around during the day, which is usually what happens when using most cream based products without setting them.
If you are going on a trip, or even just to work these are so convenient to travel with, and they fill the place of needing to take a bunch of other makeup products with you.
Have you tried cream contouring? How about Makeup Revolution products?
