A month ago I was fortunate enough to attend an event in New York City held by Derma E for the release of three new amazing face oils. One of these oils is actually a collaboration they have with beauty vlogger SunKissAlba. It was such a fun Summer Soiree, and I also got to finally meet Kara from FitChickNextdoor. I know, exciting right!?
In today’s post I am going to give some mini reviews of each oil, and then share some behind the scenes photos with you.
Let’s start off with the most exciting! The Radiant Glow Face Oil by SunKissAlba. This oil contains amazing ingredients such as Jojoba, Argan, and Seabuckthorn oils, and Mica which gives the beautiful shimmer. Her goal with this oil was to soften, illuminate, and hydrate the skin. Let me just say she did an amazing job with this. I not only use this all over my body, but in my hair too. I love applying this oil to my shin and collar bones as well as my shoulders. It gives off the most beautiful natural looking golden shimmer. When I apply it in my hair, I rub a small amount in my hands and apply to my hair from the middle down. This oil retails for $22.50 USD, and you receive 2.0 oz. of product.
Next up is the Illuminating Rosehip & Cranberry Face Oil. This oil will help brighten, hydrate, and rejuvenate your skin. It contains ingredients such as Sunflower seed, Pumpkin seed, Rosehip, Coconut, Vitamin E, Cranberry seed, and Seabuckthorn oils. I am obsessed with the way this face oil smells! I like applying a few drops in the evening after my cleansing routine. You can purchase this oil for $16.50 USD and receive 1.0 oz. of product.
Lastly, is the Rejuvenating Sage & Lavender Oil. This oil caught my attention because it says that it can be worn under makeup or added to your foundation. It helps with anti-aging, improving skin elasticity, collagen, and skin cell renewal. Over time, you will be able to see a reduced appearance of any wrinkles and fine lines. I use this oil on Sunday’s as part of my more relaxing at home spa treatment. It makes me feel extra relaxed and I can thank the Lavender for that. I have not used this in my foundation because I have oily skin, and normally do not go for luminous foundation, but I do add a few drops to my body wash. This oil smells really nice as well. It retails for $16.50 and you receive 1.0 oz.
These face oils are a definite must-have! They have multiple uses and I love that they have droppers which allow you to easily pick up as much, or as little as you’d like.
As promised, here are some photos from the Derma E Summer Soiree event!
