New Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer Review

Too Faced Multi-Use Sculpting concealer review

Hi loves!

One thing I love besides a good full-coverage foundation is a good concealer.  I need my concealer to be able to cover up any signs of a sleepless night, any unwanted blemishes, and also multitask as an eye primer, contour and highlight.

I recently read great reviews from Steffanie, and Lauren, and knew I needed to get my hands on this new concealer so I chose a shade that I wanted to use to help brighten my under eye area and eagerly added it to my online cart and stalked the mailman for a few days lol.  It finally arrived and I got a chance to use it a few times and I’m ready to share my thoughts.  If you want to find out if the Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Sculpting Concealer is worth the hype, then just keep reading!

Let’s start off with the claims.  Too Faced describes this product as a “hydrating, full-coverage, weightless 4-in-1 concealer that conceals, contours, highlights, and retouches. Smooths and sculpts skin for natural-looking coverage. Infused with coconut water, alpine rose, and hyaluronic acid, these skin-loving ingredients come together for crease-free, weightless wear that’s so naturally flawless they’ll think you’re Born This Way.”

Benefits:

  • Great variety of shades
  • Multi-Use
  • Doe-foot applicator
  • Weightless wear
  • Hydrating
  • Not cakey looking

Ok,  I’ll admit I’m not the best at choosing shades online when it comes to concealer and foundation, but I did a pretty good job with this one.  There are 20 shades to choose from and retail for $29 USD.  I went with the shade Natural Beige.

The first thing that I noticed about this concealer is how large it is in comparison to any of the other ones that I own.  My favorite high-end concealer has always been the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (which I found an awesome $6 drugstore dupe for) which is the same price as this one, but contains much less product.  Too Faced Born This Way Super-Coverage concealer contains an incredible 0.50 fl oz.!

It blended out and covered my wrist tattoo really well with just 1 application!

Too Faced never disappoints with its eye catching, display worthy packaging.  I love the sleek design and black and gold details.  Even though it is a larger than normal concealer, it is still travel friendly.

When applying this concealer, I use the doe-foot applicator to create a triangular shape under my eyes, and tap out with my finger to start blending it in, and finish it off with a damp beauty blender for a flawless look.  This definitely lives up to the super full-coverage claim, and all you need is a small amount of product to cover a large area.  I like to start out light, and build up if needed.  It’s much easier to add on product then to pack on too much and then try to remove it.

I wore this from about 9:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m. and can’t complain at all!  I set it with the E.L.F. Cosmetics Beauty Shield loose setting powder and experienced very little creasing in some fine lines under my eyes.  It never felt heavy, or looked cakey.

I haven’t been blown away by a concealer in quite some time, but I am pleasantly surprised, and excited to keep using this product in my routine.
