Hi loves!
Today L.A. Colors is launching their new Truly Matte Long Wearing High Pigment foundation on their website. I received four out of the fourteen available shades to test and review for you. In today’s post I will give you some details and then you can refer to the video that I created to see how well it lasted on my oily skin for 10 hours without any blotting, or re-touching.
Disclaimer: These products were sent to me by L.A. Colors in a PR package. I was not obligated to share these or review. All opinions are my own. Read my full disclosure here.
Available in a great variety of 14 shades, this matte foundation compliments skin as fair as “Porcelain” and as deep as “Mahogany”. The mind blowing thing about these is their price of only $6.00 USD! At least if you can’t find your perfect shade, you can purchase another to mix and match to create one without breaking the bank.
Each bottle contains 1.35 FL OZ of product. Not only is the plastic packaging very durable, it also contains a pump. WINNINGGG! I can’t tell you enough what a huge plus it is to me when foundations have pumps. This allows you to waste less product, and save yourself from a mess.
There is no specified time on the bottle stating how long this truly matte foundation should last, but in my wear test, I got 10 hours out of it, and I show you what it looked like at the end of the day.
The formula is a liquid, but on the thicker side, and dries to a powder finish. It was very easy to build up and blend out, covering any redness and dark spots that I have.
I’ve been using the truly matte foundation for a few days after I posted this video, and must say that I am really happy with it.
I use the shade “Warm Honey”, and even though it looks a bit light on camera, it’s a pretty perfect match in person.
