This Summer I have been keeping my makeup really simple, and neutral. I have also been trying to use makeup products that will help improve my skin. With that said, when I read that these new eyeshadows from Osmosis contained more Vitamin C than oranges, as well as Green Tea Extract, I had to give it a try.
There are 5 different duos you can choose from, and they retail for $27 USD. Each are matte, and gluten-free!
- “Chocolate Brûlée”
- “Crimson Cream”
- “Mystic Mulberry”
- “Sinenna Dusk”
- “Truffle Bliss”
I love that each duo comes with a light and dark shade that compliment each other. These definitely make it easy to go from a simple day look, to a more dramatic night time look.
I chose the duo in “Crimson Cream”, which is a gorgeous pink cream shade, and deeper mauve shade. The formula is so soft and silky, and very pigmented. It felt like I was applying a cream shadow that turned to powder.
The Green Tea Extract acts as an antioxidant to protect the skin against free radicals as well as keep down any puffiness or swelling from tired eyes. Honeysuckle and Gogi Berry Extracts work together to soothe and tighten the eye area, making them look more awake and bright.
When I applied the shadows, I did not use any primer, and still got amazing color pay off. I used the lighter shade all over my lid, and then applied the deeper shade into my crease and ran it along the bottom lash line for some additional definition.
If you are looking for some great eye makeup that will not only look amazing, but benefit your eyes as well, I highly recommend that you try these.
