Milani Cosmetics Bella Eyes Gel Eyeshadow

Hi Loves.  When I heard Milani Cosmetics was coming out with this gel eye shadow I was excited.  I was curious to see how a gel shadow would be a powder finish at the same time.  I automatically thought of it being like the Maybelline Color Tattoo’s, but to my surprise they are very different.

I picked mine up from CVS because they were having a buy one get one half off sale.  You can order these from the Milani website or any other drugstore that carry Milani cosmetics.  When I got to the store there were already so many shades I wanted to try that were sold out already.  I picked up four shadows in the shades “Bella Pink”, “Bella Violet”, “Bella Cappuccino”, and “Bella Copper”.  The shades are just beautiful.  They are very pigmented and soft.  The last thing that comes to mind when you feel them would be gel.  They feel is definitely powder with the lasting power of a gel.  Below are swatches of the colors without flash, and without primer.

1  I have worn “Bella Pink”, and “Bella Copper” on my eyes so far and have gotten a lot of compliments.  I also love the fact that these shadows do not crease or fade through the day.  I have oily eyelids and usually even with a primer by the middle of the day I get some creasing that I need to fix, but with these I have no worries about that happening.

These shadows are definitely one of my favorite items in Milani’s line of cosmetics.  I plan on looking for many more shades to buy because they are well worth it.  I highly recommend this new product to all makeup lovers out there 🙂

Thanks for reading.  I hope this helps 🙂
