Maybelline Fit Me Concealer vs. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer Dupe

Hi beauties,
Welcome back to my blog ♡

I finally caved in and bought the NARS radiant creamy concealer in the shade Ginger after constantly trying to make sense of spending that much money on a concealer.  I used a Sephora gift card that my sister gave me for my birthday, and must say that I love it.

As soon as I applied it I instantly thought of how close it is to the Maybelline Fit Me concealer, and wanted to show you all how similar they are and how you can save a lot of money if you do not want to splurge on the NARS. The Maybelline concealer is definitely a great drugstore dupe for this.

(Keep in mind my skin type is oily)

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

This drugstore concealer retails from $5-$7 depending on where you are shopping.  I bought mine from Ulta for $6.99. The great thing about this store is that they usually have buy one get one 50% off on this brand, as well as a $3.50 off a $10 purchase coupon. It comes in 6 shades; Fair, Light, Medium, Sand, Deep, and Cafe. I have Medium for more concealing purposes and Light for a brighter under eye. The packaging is easy to take anywhere with you and is very sleek.  The coverage is natural and not cakey, and is buildable. You get .23 oz. of product with this.

This high end concealer is a new favorite of mine.  It retails for $29, and I purchased mine from Sephora.  It comes in 10 shades; Chantilly, Vanilla, Honey, Custard, Ginger, Biscuit, Caramel, Cafe, Cocao, and Amande.  I own Ginger but will be purchasing Custard for more of an under eye highlight.  It is a full coverage concealer on me, and did not move through the day.  It uses light diffusing technology to really leave a flawless finish.  The packaging is amazing. It is sleek and easy to take around, and just feels luxurious.  With this concealer you get .22 oz. of product.

How I like to Apply

When applying concealer I find using a damp beauty blender or a brush leaves the most flawless look.  When applying and tapping out with my finger I feel it tends to look cakey. Don’t forget to set with some powder for longer lasting power.

I hope you dolls enjoyed this and found this helpful.

So nice to see a drugstore makeup included in a post- and to have it turn out working pretty well! As a SAHM with 2 makeup loving little girls I don’t dare buy anything more expensive than drugstore makeup- I’m terrified of seeing it used for art. Thanks for sharing!
