Spring Morning Skin Care Routine

Hi dolls.

Welcome back.

I just wanted to share with you some of my springtime skincare essentials.

First I always pick my hair up away from my face.  I then wash my hands so that I do not transfer any dirt or germs from my hands to my face.

Next, I dampen my face with warm water.  Never make the water too hot though.  Then I apply a small amount of Philosophy Purity facial cleanser and rinse, followed by Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating wash.  When using this use small and gentle circular motions to remove any dead skin cells from the surface of your face.  Once I am done washing and exfoliating I rinse my skin with COLD water.  Not only does it really wake you up but it closes your pores.

After cleaning you want to apply any creams, treatments, or serums you want to use.

To moisturize I like to use a gel based moisturizer since I have oily skin.  I use Clean & Clear Morning Burst hydrating gel moisturizer.  It leaves your skin soft and hydrated and absorbs in the skin very quick.  It feels light and not greasy.

Lastly, I use Tarte’s Maracuja Oil on my neck.  It is very important to care for this area as well because it is one part of us women that can show signs of aging.

I hope you enjoyed this quick routine.  I will update if I try anything new and find that it works.

Always remember what may work for me may not work for your skin.  I advise you to keep trying products until you find a good fit for your skin.

Thank you for reading.
♡ Melissa

Intrigued by Tarte’s maracuja oil. It’s a valid point, you are making about taking care off your neck. I deffinetly need to step up my game with neck care. Thanks for making me more aware of taking care of my neck
