Hi dolls.

Welcome back to my blog.

Do you struggle with problem skin, and feel like you have tried every product out there and have had no luck?  Me too!  Here is a post just for you 🙂

This company was created by the co-founder of Scunci hair accessories Lewis Handler. His belief is that great skincare results come from natural ingredients and actives.  This company does not use Parabans, Sulfates, Phthalates, Synthetic Fragrance, or Artificial Dyes.  100% Organic Aloe Vera is used as a base which is very soothing and hydrating for the skin.  The best part is that they do not test on animals.  Before products are approved for retail, the Michael Todd Skincare team tests out all products on themselves.

Okay, let’s talk a little about my skin.  I have very large pores, and my skin tends to breakout and become oily very easily especially in my T-Zone area.  I have always had a bad habit of picking at breakouts which has caused some scarring making dark spots on some areas of my skin.  As you may not know, I am 7 months pregnant and this hormone change has had my skin going from clear, to broken out, to everything in between.

Brittani, from the Michael Todd skincare team was nice enough to send me two products to try out for my skin.  I used both of these products for 4 weeks morning and evening consistently, and must say they have helped a lot.

The first product I tried is the Charcoal Detox Cleanser.  It retails for $23.  It is great for oily, acne prone skin because charcoal pulls impurities out of skin and helps to absorb oils.  It comes out as a black gel based cleanser and has a hint of lemon like scent.  I loved the smell.  I used this morning and evening and my skin never felt dry, tight, or over washed after rinsing my face.  It also removed my makeup but I never got it close to my eyes.  Tea tree oil is also an ingredient in this wash which aids in blemish control, anti-aging, and rosacea.  You get 7 Fl oz of product, and it is worth every penny.

The next product is amazing.  It is the Milk and Honey Mask.  I used this mask every Sunday as part of my pamper routine.  It retails for $34 and has 3.4 Fl oz. of product.  The mask comes out of a pump, and is a creamy mousse that is white in color.  It feels so nice when applied to the skin.  It never gets that dry, tight feeling.  I would leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water.  My skin felt extra soft and hydrated after using this mask.

I recommend these products if you have problem skin, and feel like you have run out of options to help you.  I wanted to give up until I tried these products.  They also have a large variety of other products you can choose from, and are now available at my favorite beauty store Ulta!

Disclaimer: These opinions are my own honest thoughts.  This is not a sponsor, but products were sent to me.  I only post and recommend products that I truly believe in and support.
