Tarte Cosmetics Poppy Picnic Palette Review + Swatches

tarte review

Hi loves!

Who else lives for a great makeup palette?  Me too!  I own many palettes that I love and currently this is my go-to.  This is the Tarte Cosmetics Poppy Picnic limited edition Amazonian Clay cheek and eye palette.

This palette contains 6 matte neutral eyeshadows, and 1 full size blush.  I love neutral shades so this palette makes it easy to give yourself a classic everyday natural look with the option of making it more bold with perhaps a bright lip color, or eyeliner.

It is available online and in stores for $38.  If you sign up on http://www.tartecosmetics.com for their newsletter you receive a 15% off coupon.

Here are the swatches of the eyeshadows and blush.  They are very buttery and easy to work with.  I suggest using a primer so that the more fair colors show better.

What caught my eye was the gorgeous packaging.  Any packaging that Tarte has come out with I absolutely love.  The pink, purple and gold combination is perfect, and the floral print is so feminine and luxurious looking.  I love the fact that it has a big mirror for on the go as well.

I thought this little card with 2 tutorials was a great addition too.  Sometimes you need a little inspiration to get things going and then creating your own is a breeze.

Thank you for reading 🙂
