How To Get Smooth Legs With Coconut Oil

Hi my loves!

Welcome back to my blog.

Today I have a simple DIY/beauty hack for you.  I hope you tried out the baby powder as dry shampoo tip I gave in my last post 🙂

My favorite shaving creams come from EOS.  I love basically all the products that they make.  Their shaving creams have always left my legs feeling silky smooth, and smelling awesome.

There have been a few times when I have run out and have not had any backup’s in my  bathroom, so Iv’e had to improvise.  One time I had tried using hair conditioner which did work but ended up leaving me with bad razor burn.  I thought about what other cream like products I had in the house and remembered reading about all the amazing benefits that coconut oil has for the skin.

I always keep organic coconut oil in the house for many different purposes.  I buy mine from Trader Joe’s and it costs about $5-$6 per jar.

To shave with this product, simply scoop out whatever amount that you prefer and warm it between your hands before placing it on your legs (or desired body part to shave).  I like to work in sections so that it doesn’t become a mess, and so that the tub doesn’t get slippery.  After applying it your all set 🙂

TIP: Mix in some sugar to create a moisturizing exfoliator (Your welcome <3)

You will get such an amazing close shave and smell delicious.  Another great plus is that your treating your skin for an even better appearance because of the oils nutrients, and I find that I have to shave less often when I use it.  Now that’s music to my ears 🙂

I hope you find this tip useful and want to give it a try.  If you do please let me know how it worked for you.

Thanks for reading 🙂
