How To Fake Fuller Lips In A Few Easy Steps

how to plump lips

Hi loves!

I have always wanted a little more fullness to my lips but never wanted to commit to getting any kind of surgical procedures to alter them.  After all, sometimes you come out with worse looking lips than what you were complaining about.  I have come up with a way to make them look fuller naturally just by using some makeup tricks.  I can’t promise you Kylie Jenner or Angelina Jolie status lips lol, but definitely a bit of a difference.

If you want to see how I achieve plumper lips in just a few easy steps, then just keep on reading.

First you want to start out with clean, exfoliated lips.  Then apply some left over concealer or foundation over them to just blur out the sides.

Next you want to take the lip liner of your choice and very slightly over line your natural lip shape.  Here I am using a slightly darker liner than the lip shade I am applying.

You are then going to apply a nude color to the center of your lips and blend out with a brush or just your finger.  Here I used “Hue” by M.A.C Cosmetics.

After you blend out the center color, apply a highlight of your choice on top of it being sure to keep it only in the center.  I like to pack on Mary-Loumanizer by The Balm Cosmetics for an extra fullness effect.

Add highlight and gloss to center of lips for fullness

For even more fullness add a gloss to center on top of the highlight.  Here I used just a clear gloss from NYX Cosmetics.

Here is the final look.  Not too dramatic but very natural.
