Today’s post is all about my final thoughts on the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. It’s also my first collaboration with my lovely friend Mitzi from The Bloggin Mamacita Blog. I will leave her link to her review here. She will let you know all about the waterproof micellar water (blue cap). You can also check her out on Instagram @theblogginmamacita. She is such a wonderful person.
Ok, so you might be asking yourself, what is micellar water? Micelles are attracted to dirt & oil, which allows the water to draw impurities from the skin without drying the skin out.
Micellar water acts as a toner, cleanser, and moisturizer all in one. This new way of cleansing is replacing people’s skincare routines, and cutting down on the need to use multiple products for great skin results. It’s also saving you money since you don’t need to buy separate products to cleanse, moisturize, or tone. If you are lazy with skincare, or just love time saving products, then this is for you!
I picked up this impressive product from Walgreens. It retails for $8.99 USD, and you receive 13.5 FL OZ. I have used this morning, and evening, for two weeks, and it looks hardly used.
The Garnier water comes in two different formulas. The pink top, which is regular, and the blue top, which removes waterproof makeup.
The list of good things I have to say about this product can go on, and on, but here are my main pro’s.
- Improved appearance of my skin within a few days (oily/acne prone skin)
- All-In-1 product, so it’s a huge time saver
- Works as multiple skincare items, which saves you money
- No Rinse
- Thin consistency
- Easy, quick, late night makeup removal
- No oil, alcohol, or fragrance
- No residue left on skin
- No burning, or irritation
- Better than makeup wipes
- DUPE for Bioderma!
To use, all you have to do is take a cotton pad, soak it with the product, and wipe across the skin until makeup is removed.
I have oily, acne prone skin, and this product has done a wonderful job at keeping the oil to a minimum, and clearing my skin, as well as making some dark marks appear lighter.
I love being able to tell all of you lovely people when I find a dupe, or amazing bargain. Garnier Micellar Water is a DUPE for the Bioderma Micellar Water! They do the same thing, but Garnier is much less money, and easier to find since it is sold in most drugstores.
This product is changing my skincare routine for the better, and it’s positive results on my skin are being noticed by many.
If you do not have this product, I would run out and try to find it right now! Your skin will thank you 🙂
