Protect Your Hair Color This Summer With Hask Kalahari Melon Oil

Hask Kalahari Collection Review

Hi loves!

How many of you have colored your hair for the Spring and Summer seasons?  I have, and the last thing I want is to see it fade away from being in the sun.  Let’s face it, we are forced to hibernate in the winter, so I am definitely outside as often as possible in Spring and Summer running around parks, hanging out at the pool, and of course tanning at the beach.

Hask has found the answer in the African desert which contains a color shield complex A UV absorber, to protect hair from damage and fading, and they put it into affordable hair products.

Today I am sharing my thoughts on the Kalahari Melon Oil Collection.  This is my third Hask collection that I have been given the opportunity to review.  You can check out my previous posts on their Charcoal & Citrus Oil line, Monoi Coconut Oil line, and also my haircare routine with their Argan Oil line.

Kalahari melon oil leaves hair moisturized due to it’s amazing ability to counteract dryness since it grows in the most dry conditions.  It also has the help of cranberry and sunflower oils to help strands shine, and keep color vibrant.

Let’s talk about the packaging.  I love how it’s the perfect size to store in the shower, or take along with you if you are traveling.  I also really like how vibrant the color of the pinkish/red accents are.  It’s like it’s telling you to expect vibrant color from this product.

Hask Kalahari Melon Oil - Keep haircolor vibrant - Don't worry about fading hair color

You can purchase this fabulous collection at Ulta.  You receive 12 oz of shampoo and conditioner for a very wallet friendly $5.99. If you purchase the packet of deep conditioner, you receive 1.75 oz for $2.99, and the oil vial is also $2.99 for .62 oz.

The thickness of the shampoo and conditioner was great.  It feels very nourishing, and a little went a long way.  After rinsing my hair, I really liked how my hair felt.  It didn’t feel weighed down, and felt soft, another plus was how shiny it was after styling.

The fragrance is also really yummy.  It reminds me of watermelon.

These products are made WITHOUT:

  • Sulfates
  • Parabens
  • Phthalates
  • Gluten
  • Drying Alcohol
  • Artificial Colors

I have been a huge fan of Hask hair products not only because they are affordable and high quality, but they are also very effective.

I highly recommend this line if you want to prevent your hair color from fading due to the sun, and daily use of harmful styling products.

Have you tried any hair products from Hask?

Thanks for reading!

❤ Melissa

I love Hask and I’ve used the Argan Oil and Keratin Oil set in the past. I haven’t tried the Kalahari set yet but I just might try it out.
