What exactly is Keratosis Pilaris?
- Keratosis Pilaris is a skin (follicular) condition that appears as rough bumps around hair follicles on the skin of the back and outer side of the upper arms and thighs.
Luckily, this can easily be taken care of by consistent use of the retexturing treatment.
To use, I apply a generous amount onto the back of my arms and legs. I was expecting to feel some kind of exfoliating beads, but it was just a smooth cream. FYI: Do not use directly after shaving, and if you have a sun burn, this can make it feel worse, as well as increase your skins sensitivity to the sun. I use a circular motion to cleanse, and let it sit for about a minute, then rinse. One think I dislike is the smell. It reminds me of medicine, but soon goes away after you rinse the product off.
For $42 you receive 6 fl oz of product. I also am a huge fan of the bright aqua colored packaging and white cap. It looks so nice displayed on the side of my shower.
After using this product for quite sometime, I have noticed the back of my thighs are smoother, and don’t have a goose bump appearance after shaving.
Will you be trying this product?
