Hi loves!

I can’t believe February came and left! Today I am sharing the great products that I received in my beautiful February GlossyBox. This months box was the #adoreGlossy GlossyBox which was perfect for the month of love!

What is GlossyBox?

GlossyBox is a monthly beauty subscription box that sends you five deluxe-sized beauty products to try out. You can subscribe to three different plans that they offer. You can sign up for the monthly plan which is $21 a month, the 3-month plan for $58.50 billed every 3 months, as well as the 6-month plan for $111 billed every 6 months, or the 12-month plan for $210 billed every 12 months. Each have FREE SHIPPING if you are a U.S. resident.

I love this box because it’s like getting a surprise gift every month right to your front door with fabulous beauty products to test out. The best part is, to buy these products individually would cost so much more than the box full of products itself. I also love that it comes with a card guide of each product you receive with a full description and price detail.

Products I received:

Estée Edit Pink Peony Overnight Water Pack:  I was so excited to see this product as soon as I opened the box!  I had been wanting to try a few items from this line and finally was given the chance.  I put this to the test the first night that I received it.  It is an overnight no rinse water-gel mask.  It hydrates your skin and delivers a beautiful glow.  You do not have to use this just as a sleep mask, but even as just a hydrating moisturizer whenever your skin may need it.  I love the thin light weight consistency it has.  Even though I applied a fairly thick layer on right before bed, I never woke up with a greasy feeling.  It absorbs beautifully into the skin and truly leaves your face looking fabulous.  I will definitely be buying the full size.  Full Size: $50 1.7 oz

Perfect Formula Pink Gel Coat:  Now, I must admit that I am not the biggest nail product junkie only because I have been use to getting them done all the time and just taken care of by nail technicians.  After having a third baby and becoming a stay-at-home mother, I have cut back on spending, and have now been focusing on self-care in my own home.  This has definitely included giving manicures and pedicures to myself.  I am guilty of just applying whatever color I choose directly to my nails without any base coat, or hydrating of my cuticles.  I absolutely love this gel coat because I don’t have to worry about applying an actual nail color to make my nails look presentable.  This serves as a base coat as well as a top coat, and even strengthens your nails.  Being made without parabens and sulfates allows nails to look brighter and healthier with just one use.  This is to be used as a weekly treatment to see results.  Full Size: $30 0.6 fl oz

Jeanne Arthes L’eau De Rose:  This perfume was made exclusively for this months box.  I love the light flirty scent it has, and the pretty glass packaging.  I like to spray this on the inside of my wrists, and on the back of my neck.  It leaves just the right amount of fragrance without being overwhelming.  Full Size: $26 1.0 fl oz

Dome Beauty Diamond Shadow:  Don’t let the size fool you.  This small compact delivers some serious pigmentation to your lids.  You can use it wet or dry.  For a more intense effect, wet your brush before applying to your eyes.  I love the glow this copper tone gave me.  It was perfect for a neutral everyday look.  I just apply to my lids and blend up into the crease.  I love using this shade alone on the eyes.  Full Size: $29 0.07 oz

Schwarzkopf Professional Smoothing Cream:  For some serious frizz and heat protection, I recommend purchasing a full size of this baby right here.  It worked perfect on my thick hair and made it feel healthier.  I have very dry ends that tend to look frizzy and split even after flat ironing them.  This also is a great heat protector.  Full Size: $21 4.25 fl oz

Korres Modern Greek Apothecary Sunflower & Evening Primrose Eyeshadow:  So I have honestly been rocking this as a gorgeous highlight.  It looks great as an eyeshadow, but because my lids are hooded I can’t fully show off the gorgeous glow it gives, so I figured why not put it on my face for the world to see right? Remember there are no rules with makeup.  If you find a use for a product other than what it was made for, then go for it!  Full Size: $18 0.05 oz

New Masks From Miss Spa | 24K Gold, Oxygen, & Charcoal Sheet Masks

new sheet masks from Miss Spa Beauty

Hi loves,

By now it’s no secret that I am face mask junkie as well as a lover of Miss Spa Beauty products.  You can catch reviews I have posted here, and here.  Recently, Miss Spa released 3 new sheet masks at Target.  I had the pleasure to try them, and now I am ready to share my thoughts with you.

What are the new masks?

These masks are new items to their “Results in 20 Minutes” collection.  There is a Charcoal clarifying sheet mask, an Oxygenating bubble sheet mask, and a 24K Gold radiance sheet mask.  Each mask retails for $3.99 and contains 1 mask per packet.

Review of the new face masks from miss spa

What are these masks free of?

  • Sulfates
  • Parabens
  • Artificial Dyes

What skin types are these good for?

  • Any.  I do recommend doing a patch test regarding some just to be sure you are not allergic.  (What may work for my skin, may not work for yours.)

My Thoughts:

Charcoal Clarifying Sheet Mask:  This mask is made for a nice deep cleaning.  The charcoal is like a magnet for dirt and pore clogging oils.  It literally draws out all of the impurities that build up in your skin.  I chose to use this mask when I had a mild breakout, and saw great results by the next day.  I think that because you do not have to rinse the mask, it is able to work even better because you press the left over serum into your skin and let it have a chance to continue to work.  Not only did blemishes dry out, some of them disappeared.  Even though you might look a little scary wearing this mask lol, it is totally worth it.

Oxygenating Bubble Sheet Mask:  This mask was my favorite, and the most fun!  Miss Spa does have another oxygenating mask but the difference is that you apply a thin layer of that directly to the skin and then rinse it off after the set amount of time.  With this mask, the bubbles form right on top of the sheet, and you can hear the fizzing sound as they start rising up to a foam.  It literally started working in seconds.  After removing the sheet and pressing the remaining serum into my skin, I felt like my skin was recharged and refreshed like I have never felt before, and it definitely showed in my skin.

24K Gold Radiance Sheet Mask:  This sheet mask was the prettiest to use.  I wasn’t expecting so much pretty sparkle and gold.  This mask definitely doesn’t skimp on the good stuff.  If you are looking for a gorgeous glow then this is the mask for you.  After removing the sheet, I was left with a lot of sparkle so I dampened a cloth just to remove some of what was left over, and then pressed the rest into my skin to reveal a gorgeous glow.

It’s Judy Time Collaboration With Pixi Beauty Review & Swatches

Pixi and It's Judy Time Review and Swatches

Hi loves,

Recently Pixi Beauty has released new products that were collaborations with four different beauty bloggers.  I was lucky enough to have received all of these collabs from Pixi Beauty to try out and I must say, I am very impressed.  I will be reviewing all four collaborations, but in their own separate posts.  Today I want to share with you the It’s Lip Time palette and the It’s Eye Time palette created by Judy from It’s Judy Time.

new-pixi-beauty-collaborations

I love makeup in the form of palettes.  I love having the accessibility to multiple products, or shades that I would use all in one place. They are super convenient when traveling or taking along with you on a regular day. These palettes have been the perfect addition to my collection.

Judy has created these palettes to make it extremely easy for you to transition from a subtle day-time look, to a sultry night look without needing to grab a million other products.  You can go to work and literally be ready for a girls night out, or hot date just by adding some deeper shades to your day time look.

Pixi and It's Judy Time Collaboration

The It’s Eye Time eyeshadow palette, comes in a sleek plastic palette with a vertical opening and is the same pretty mint green casing as all Pixi products.  There is a total of 12 neutral shades ranging from matte, to shimmers.  There is a perfect balance of shades to easily change up your look whether you are going for a soft look, a natural look, or dramatic look.  Each shadow is so buttery and easy to blend.  I was also blown away at how pigmented they are without a primer.  You can use them dry, or wet them for even more pigmentation.  It’s Judy Time eyeshadow palette retails for $24.

Judy’s lip palette, It’s Lip Time, also comes in a sleek plastic palette with a vertical opening.  There is a total of 12 cream lipsticks ranging from pale nude shades, to brighter pink and red shades to match any mood.  They are so creamy and pigmented making it easy to blend and create your own shade.  Each lip color is also very hydrating and comfortable to wear.  Being very easy to build up, you can go from day to night easily.  This palette retails for $24.

I have been using these palettes for easy every day makeup looks, and some date nights out with my husband.   Judy definitely did an amazing job with these! High quality and gorgeous.

Did you pick up anything from this collaboration?  Tell me in a comment.
